Judge and Ohtani Dominate Early MLB All-Star Voting as Phase 1 Nears Conclusion

With just days remaining in Phase 1 of MLB All-Star fan voting, Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees and Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers have solidified their positions as the frontrunners in their respective leagues for the 95th MLB All-Star Game.

Judge continues to pace all players with an impressive 2,699,483 votes, maintaining his position as the overall vote leader. The Yankees outfielder holds a commanding lead of nearly 800,000 votes over second-place Cal Raleigh of the Seattle Mariners in the American League.

Should Judge maintain his position atop the voting, he would join Alex Rodriguez (2007-08) as the only Yankees players to lead overall All-Star voting in consecutive years.

Meanwhile, Ohtani has accumulated 2,521,718 votes in the National League, trailing Judge's total by fewer than 180,000 votes.

The National League voting has been particularly competitive, with multiple Dodgers players making strong showings. Freddie Freeman, Will Smith, and Pete Crow-Armstrong of the Chicago Cubs have all surpassed the 2 million vote threshold, demonstrating the depth of fan engagement across the league.

The current voting phase will determine the starting lineups for the All-Star Game, scheduled for July 16 at Truist Park in Atlanta. Players leading their respective positions when Phase 1 ends will automatically secure starting spots, while the top two finishers at each position (top six for outfielders) will advance to Phase 2 voting beginning July 1.

One of the closest races heading into the final days involves American League second base, where Baltimore's Jackson Holliday and Houston's José Altuve are separated by just 11,010 votes.

Fans can continue voting up to five times daily through MLB.com, team websites, or the official MLB app until the June 27 deadline. Phase 2 voting for remaining starting positions will commence July 1, with final results determining the complete All-Star Game starting lineups.
