The New York Yankees revealed on Thursday that they would be delaying their scheduled MLB game on April 8th due to the occurrence of a solar eclipse on the same day.
The game against the Miami Marlins, which was supposed to start at 2:05 p.m. E.T., has been moved to 6:05 p.m. E.T.
The solar eclipse is scheduled to occur in New York City between 2:11 p.m. E.T. and 4:36 p.m. E.T., reaching its peak with an 80-85% coverage at 3:25 p.m. E.T.
